Wayne Crome

Wayne Crome is a three-time winner of the St. Louis Playwrights Festival and has enjoyed numerous productions of his plays in Chicago, St. Louis, and other Midwest theatre venues.

Among his prizes and awards are The Missouri Association of Playwrights President’s Award as Playwright of the Year, three Illinois Arts Council Playwrighting Fellowships, and a commission from the American Blues Theatre (American Theatre Company) of Chicago for their acclaimed Monsters series of one-act plays by well-known American playwrights. His monologue, “Warren”, was cited by The Chicago Sun Times as one of the highlights of the evening. Mr. Crome recently directed an evening of one-act plays by Samuel Beckett.
