Joan Lipkin

Joan is the Artistic Director of That Uppity Theatre Company (UppityCo.com), where she specializes in creating original work about topical issues for corporations and social service agencies, and working with marginalized populations. Her most recent play, "Hello, Is Anybody There?" debuted at the Ritz-Carleton in November. Joan's work has been presented in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Her plays include, "Some of My Best Friends Are. . .," "He's Having Her Baby" (with Tom Clear), and "Girl Who Lost Her Voice."
