Jan Meyer

Pecan Surprise - 2009

Except for a ten year hiatus when her children were young, Jan has acted and directed in St. Louis ever since earning her Master's in Theatre from Southern Illinois University. But she has always most admired the initial source of these productions, the playwrights, whom she believes are the most creative, the hardest working, and, frequently, the least appreciated heroes of the piece. After laboring over Pecan Surprise, her first and only play, Jan still believes this to be true, only more so. Thank you, First Run Theatre, for getting it on its feet.
