Death Blow - 2009

Death Blow is Brian's second play, and the first to be produced. He is the author of the 1991 Vietnam War novel A Brother of Jackals, and received a MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in novel writing from UMSL in 2003. Almost on a whim he took a graduate workshop in playwriting in the summer of 2008 and found he liked the craft of theatrical production. He will definitely continue to produce work for the theater. Death Blow was inspired by the Hindu Katha Upanishad, in which a teenager receives instruction in meditation from Death.
