The Crucifixion of Moe and Ira
A short play by Lynn-Steven Johanson
June 19 - 28 2009
Directed by Michael P. Fitzgerald
Original Music by Adam Rosen
When you commit a “crime” against the Roman Empire - justice is severe and swift. Like many other things in life, you can bemoan your fate and endure the suffering and anguish, or you can look death in the face and spit on it! Imagine this as a vaudeville routine, set in 33 AD, a few weeks after the more famous Crucifixion. This is NOT a sacrilegious story; rather a comedy about the final slice of life.

Judea 33 AD Moe (Matthew Steiner), a clown, and Ira (Mark Abels) an alter maker, have found out to their discomfort that the occupying Roman authorities have no sense of humor.
