Mona is struggling with how to care for her mother, Esther, as she degenerates mentally due to the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s. She shares her burden with her friend Sue as they meet at the Mall. Mona has brought her mother to the mall to by shoes for a trip, only she’s not going on a trip, it’s a delusional loop she is trapped inside.

Esther (Lynda Levy Clark) and her daughter Mona (Kathleen Locklar) sit in a shopping mall. Esther, who has Altzheimers, is trying to decide if she knows Mona

Mona's son Mark (Luke Lindberg) is watching after Esther who thinks he is a middle-eastern cook with 5 children.

Mona meets her friend Sue as Esther (Teresa Williams) looks at shoes. "She gets in these loops" Mona relates Sue her troubles dealing with her mothers condition.

"I love you. Now take me home, whenever" says Esther to Mona in one of her rare lucid moments.
