"It's not a pile of junk it's a checkpoint" says Robert (Archie Coleman) driver to Dona Augustina (Pamela Geppert) as they are trying to make their way out of war torn Angola.

"You never no when you need a bottle." Zephyr (Surilla Joyce Shaw), a woman from the village, tries to sell her meager wares to Dona Augustina and Robert

"No! I'm tired of killing." Zephyr disarms Patrick's jammed gun before Robert is forced to shoot him as well as Mario.

"Either we chop them up or they will chop us up. That's what 'enemies' mean." Mario (Eric Toler) the checkpoint guard explains the cruel reality of Angola to Dona Augustina.

"Stop, I warn you." A frustrated Dona Augustina attempts to cross the checkpoint while Mario and Pa trick (Mark Halliburton), Zephyr's son warn her off.
