The play takes place in 1948, in the apartment of Jacob and Sarah Marr, located in the Park Slope Section of Brooklyn, New York.  Jacob and Sarah run a large Mom-and-Pop store that was founded by his father.  They have three sons. The older two, Ira and Ronnie, are returning veterans. Ronnie goes to Harvard Law School while Ira helps in the family business. Nathan the youngest, is just about to Bar Mitzva. Unfortunately the children (including Nathan) don’t have the same loyalty to the family business as their father.  This presents some generational conflicts to everyone and brings forth a secret their parents would rather they didn’t know.

Predicament - Six men gather in an Irish cottage in 1921 Tipperary County to plan on blowing up the hated Black and Tan barracks in their small village. Unfortunatly this is the same group who on a previous rabbit hunting trip came up with one shot foot, one wounded cow and a blind donkey. What started as a simple plan gets complicated by clashing schedules and the proximity of the local church and pub to the target. Will they accomplish their objective without leveling half the village and themselves in the process?
