Cast

• Jacob Marr: 55 and the owner of a large Mom-and-Pop store, the family patriarch, and a proud man of humble origins.
• Sarah Marr: 53, Jacob's loving wife, who works in the store with him, and has shared the trials and tribulations of raising three sons.
• Ira Marr: 24, a veteran of the Merchant Marines during WWII, newly married, and now working with his father in the store.
• Ronnie Marr: 22, a Navy veteran, attending Harvard Law School on the GI Bill.
• Nathan Marr: 12, A precocious boy, preparing to make his Bar Mitzvah in four months
