First Run Theatre has a new home
First Run Theatre is pleased to announce that it has found a new home at the Kranzberg Art Foundation in Grand Center and will become a resident company there soon.
After FRT's long-running home at DeSmet High school in Creve Coeur became unavailable, we had been in a friendly partnership with KTK productions at Southampton church theatre on Macklind Avenue, but that building was sold in 2017 and will be unavailable from August 2018.
After a long search by the board we have now made arrangements with the Kranzberg.
It's too early at this stage to give production dates, but now that the search has ended we are getting back to our mission of providing a path to production for new plays, by writers from the Midwest. It's all we do.
